Kate Heyde, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at KAMcare Health and Wellness in Plano, Texas.
Kate received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from The University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. She then went on to get her bachelor’s degree in nursing from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas. She earned her master’s in nursing from Texas Woman’s University in Denton.
As a nurse and nurse practitioner, Kate has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including emergency rooms (ER), intensive care units (ICU), preoperative care (PREOP)/post-anesthesia care units (PACU), and internal medicine.
Kate is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and North Texas Nurse Practitioners. Kate is passionate about empowering patients through open communication and accessibility.
Kate grew up in Plano and now lives in Richardson with her husband, two children, and yellow Lab.
